The Challenge

Our brief centred on creating a comprehensive brand identity that would authentically represent the fusion of Indian and Caribbean cultures without diluting the essence of either tradition.

The challenge lay in developing a visual language that could communicate SOKA’s adventurous culinary spirit whilst establishing trust and credibility with discerning food enthusiasts and their families.

The resulting brand system needed to perform seamlessly across multiple touchpoints—from digital ordering platforms to physical packaging and merchandise—whilst maintaining consistency and impact in both online and offline environments.

Our Approach

We developed a dynamic visual identity inspired by traditional Indo-Caribbean art forms and the vibrant aesthetic of fruit stickers—small but powerful branding elements that communicate freshness and quality at a glance.

The logotype draws inspiration from bold Indian street typography, balancing cultural authenticity with modern legibility for digital and packaging applications.

Our colour strategy embraces warm, vibrant hues—rich saffron oranges, curry yellows, tropical greens, and spicy reds—balanced with neutrals for versatility.

The vibrant, culturally-rich aesthetic has enabled SOKA to build a strong community of food enthusiasts who connect not just with the flavours, but with the brand’s celebration of cultural fusion and culinary adventure.
